About Us

Sometimes timing is everything.  We have been friends for over two decades since meeting on our first day at Cambridge University, but our prior joint ventures have only extended to some (very professionally put together) holidays.  However with the realisation that our foray into screenwriting was unlikely to be winning any accolades just yet, we decided to combine forces and use our skills to do something we’ve always been passionate about: helping people to make work and life better.  And so The Thrivelihood was born.

Debbie is an experienced facilitator, coach, advisor and behavioural scientist who loves to help people to envision their future and work out how to get there.

Having started her career as a management consultant focusing on workforce performance, Debbie then spent 12 years working in financial services, including 10 years as a partner at a boutique investment firm.

Debbie has exceptional organisational skills and brings a creative and thoughtful approach to her client work.  She quickly establishes the fundamentals, and is able to build rapport and communicate complex issues clearly to people at all levels of an organisation.

Debbie has a MSc in Behavioural and Economic Science, an MA in Law from Downing College, Cambridge, is an ICF ACTP Professional Coach and a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitator.

In her spare time you can find Debbie at a gig or festival, up a fell or out in the garden.

Graeme is a mediator and negotiation coach who focuses on helping clients find their best solutions in negotiations and conflicts.

Graeme has an MA in Law from Downing College, Cambridge and is a CEDR accredited mediator.

In his spare time you can find Graeme running or playing tennis, although the Wimbledon dream is sadly over.
